Microneedling is a minimally-invasive treatment that uses a single use needle head on an electronic pen device. The Genosys needle pen is an automatic device for microneedling therapy.

Microneedling increases the absorption rate of active ingredients of skin care products by creating physical pathways through skin and promotes collagen and elastin production through natural wound healing process of skin.

16 sterile needles create microchannels in the surface of the skin which allows powerful skin rejuvenation products to penetrate the skin further while also stimulating the production of collagen.

The Genosis pen can create over half a million microchannels during a 5-10 minute treatment, penetrating deeper through the epidermis.

This encourages the absorption of active ingredients making it far easier for them to pass through the upper layer to cells deeper in the skin than a simple surface application with no needling would.

All these factors will lead to firmer, more elastic skin with a more refined and healthier looking skin surface. This can be especially effective to reduce lines and wrinkles, scars, pigmentation such as sun damage and age spots, eye bags and open pores. 

Following treatment I will place you under the LED light. LED light therapy is well known to treat many skin conditions, accelerate healing & reduce inflammation. As well as this we can treat pigmentation, acne and anti-ageing. LED and micro needling make wonderful partners ensuring optimal treatment outcomes.

It is important to realise that micro needling is not necessarily a quick fix as it involves the growth of new collagen. For best results I recommend booking a course of 4-6 treatments dependant of your skin concern. 

 Any minor side effects usually subside within 24-48 hours. Your skin may be red and slightly flushed post treatment, along with skin tightness and mild sensitivity.

You will notice some slight change directly after treatment but most can be seen after approx. 2-3 weeks and these results still continuously improve over a longer period. Our skin heals itself approximately every 6 weeks so the changes will be rapid.

Nappage Mesotherapy delivers vitamins, minerals and amino acids through superficial injections into the skin. This treatment allows vital nutrients to be transferred through the dermal layer of the skin resulting in a healthier, more nourished look and feel. 

You’ll notice some improvement after even a single session, however it is recommended to book in for a course of 4-6 treatments.

I use the epiderma5 40% Glycolic Acid peel which is gentle enough not to induce unwanted peeling and irritation but powerful enough to deliver superb results. You can continue all your usual daily activities following this treatment. This is considered a ‘superficial peel’ with no burning or unpleasant sensations.
